1,500-Mile, 619 HP Polestar 1 Listed For Sale

The Polestar 1 is undoubtedly one of the most interesting new cars of the last decade.

Built as Polestar’s first official vehicle, it features a carbon fiber body, hybrid tech, and 619 horsepower on tap. Aside from just raw power, what makes the Polestar 1 quite different from competitors is how it develops that sizable figure.

It’s powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which is both supercharged and turbocharged. The result is 328 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. Two electric motors add a further 232 hp and 354 lb-ft to the total output, making the Polestar 1 a plug-in hybrid. A 34 kWh battery pack gives the 1 an all-electric range of 93 miles. So it’s not just quick. The Polestar 1 is a tech powerhouse.

Up for sale, we have a 1,500-mile example listed by Polestar Princeton in New Jersey. It features a matte black exterior finish with a matching black leather interior. Given its extremely low mileage, it is in excellent condition with an asking price of $137,991. In total, Polestar produced just 1,500 examples of its flagship model across a three-year production run, making this one of the sleekest coupes of the last decade and one of the rarest.
